Frequently asked questions

Can my partner join the sessions?

Absolutely! Partners are always welcome to join the sessions.

If you’ve booked a package, I recommend having at least one session together or having your partner attend one on their own.

Having your partner involved can create a deeper connection and shared understanding throughout this journey.

Do you do home visits?

Yes, I do offer home visits within the Lisbon district. For visits outside of the Mafra council, there will be additional charges for fuel and tolls.

Where is your office located?

My office is in the heart of Ericeira, on Rua Fonte do Cabo. It’s a calm and welcoming space designed to make you feel at home.

Can sessions be done online?

Yes, I offer online sessions for all my services. Whether you’re seeking fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, or baby care support, we can work together virtually to accommodate your location and schedule.

Can I bring my baby to the sessions?

Of course! Babies are always welcome, whether we’re meeting online, in my office in Ericeira or at your home.

I’m happy to accommodate the baby’s needs, including breaks for feeding, diaper changes, or soothing.

Do you offer free discovery calls?

While I don’t currently offer a free first session, I’m happy to exchange voice memos with you on WhatsApp to get to know each other before you schedule a consultation or commit to a package.

Are sessions only for women?

No, I work with both women and their partners. Partners can attend sessions with you or book their own individual sessions. Fertility, pregnancy, and postpartum journeys are deeply interconnected, and I’m here to support both of you.

How long are the sessions?

Online sessions typically last around 90 minutes, with postpartum home visits lasting up to 2 hours.

Do I need to commit to a package, or can I book single sessions?

You can absolutely book a single session, and I’ll do my best to cover all the topics that are relevant and important to you. However, I highly recommend at least a three-session package.

This allows me to provide a comprehensive, full-spectrum approach with ongoing support and follow-up between sessions to troubleshoot, adjust, and ensure we’re doing the best possible thing for your journey.

What is holistic fertility/pregnancy/postpartum support?

Holistic support considers your physical, emotional, and mental well-being. My approach includes nutritional guidance, herbal and natural remedies, emotional support, and lifestyle adjustments tailored to your unique journey.

Do you work with women who are using assisted reproductive technology (e.g., IVF or IUI)?

The short answer is yes. Yes, I do.

The longer answer is that my work focuses on creating the most optimal conditions in your physical, emotional, and mental bodies to provide the most fertile ground for natural conception. This involves targeted nutrition, strategic supplementation, herbal support, lifestyle adjustments, and more — for both you and your partner.

The ultimate goal of my work is to help you boost your fertiity and conceive naturally without needing to rely on assisted reproduction methods.

Can we work together if I’m planning a hospital birth?

Yes, absolutely! I’m here to support you in achieving your deepest wishes for your pregnancy and birth and to help you make that vision a reality.

We can work on empowering you with knowledge about standard medical interventions and protocols—what is optional, what is mandatory, what may be detrimental, and what is not. This includes the medical care you receive during your pregnancy, the procedures and interventions during labor and birth at the hospital, and the standard practices in the first hours after birth, including those done to the baby.

By equipping you with this information, I’ll help you make informed decisions and advocate for your wishes so that you can feel confident and empowered throughout your journey.

Are you a doula?

The short answer is no, I do not call myself a doula.

The longer answer is that the work I offer is similar to that of a doula, and I have in fact received training as a doula training.

However, I choose not to use the title "doula" because of the multi-layered nature of my work and the additional areas of expertise I’ve acquired through my studies.

I prefer to call myself a holistic practitioner supporting fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, and babies, as it better reflects the broad scope of my work.
